Camp at School Day
What a great day the Year 3's had today. Camp at school day was brilliant. We pitched our tents on the new lawn behind the library. It was sheltered and felt like our private little camping ground. Thank you to everyone that helped. The wonderful parents who helped by providing tents and those that came to pitch them. We couldn't have done it without you. Also thanks for the games you provided. The archery was super popular. Thank you to Andrew Young for your help and patience with this activity. The children worked well in groups during our scavenger hunt challenge. The beautiful shared lunch was enjoyed by all. Thank you so much for preparing this.

Practical Creativity
Today Zoe and her friends recycled wine bottle corks to make a pin board. They cooperated well together and the finished product will be good.
Cross Country Training
The children have been working hard to get fit for cross country. We have been running on the course in Alexander's paddock for the last few days. Sorry the photos aren't the clearest. I took them on the ipad then cropped them.

Circle time
Dana a Resource Teacher of Learning and Behaviour is working at Puketapu School. She has been helping children to concentrate, join in more and stay on task. In Room 4 she has been modelling circle time which is a programme that helps with listening, sharing and building confidence. All the children take part and enjoy it. It is a fun activity.

Photos from the museum taken by children.
The children had the use of a school camera to take photos of each other at the museum. Here are a few examples.
